Funded Access to Instruct ERIC Technologies – 4th call
Dear Researcher,
Instruct provides funded access to advanced structural biology technologies, from sample preparation through to 3D structural analysis, at 29 facilities across Europe.
To ensure that your Instruct ERIC access proposal is considered in the upcoming selection panel, the deadline for submission is 29 Sep 2026.
The Instruct ERIC funding scheme includes:
• Access funding: Free access days to a wide range of technologies, including Electron Microscopy, Mass Spectrometry, Magnetic Resonance techniques, Molecular Biophysics, Protein Production and more.
• Travel and accommodation contribution: From 2026 onwards, up to €500 is available for all Instruct funded visits, or up to €550 for physical visits that do not involve air travel.
• Integrative structural biology approach: Applicants may combine several technologies across different facilities in order to broaden their research scope.
Applications can be submitted at any time and should be made once samples and preliminary data are ready, so that you can start using the facility soon after approval.
The initial peer review plus technical evaluation typically takes 4-6 weeks, and the full review process may take up to three months, with a selection panel meeting approximately every two months.
