Webinar - Feb 23: ERC PLUS Grants - 7MEU for 7 years

ISERD in collaboration with the organisation ScienceAbroad, will hold a webinar to present the new Horizon Europe ERC Plus Grant funding opportunity as part of the Choose Europe initiative.

What is ERC Plus?

ERC Plus is for researchers of any nationality and any stage in their career. 
7 MEU lump sum for up to 7 years.
Only 30 proposals will be funded.

Objective: 

•    Support outstanding PIs to address major scientific challenge

•    Projects cannot be carried out with regular ERC grant

•    Application includes vision statement that explains how project goes beyond regular ERC

PIs with an outstanding record of scientific achievement at the forefront of their field
    
Researchers must dedicate up to 30% of their time on the project. 
Minimum 50% of time in Israel or Europe during the project period.
    
Restrictions:

Current grantees not in the last two years of their current ERC grant cannot apply

Panel Members of Advanced Grant 2026 cannot apply  

Applicants selected for funding or preparing a Grant Agreement under Work Programmes 2024 and 2025 cannot apply

Applicants that have an eligible application for any other call under Work Programme 2026 will not be evaluated

Some applicants that have applied before and have received Bs and Cs cannot apply
