The Ministry of Health's Chief Scientist aims to improve public health and medical care in the State of Israel by supporting biomedical and translational medical research.
Researchers will work towards achieving this goal while emphasizing the quality, excellence, and creativity of research, and leading the Israeli health system to achievements.
The program includes support for research proposals in all fields related to health and disease, and funds small grants, surveys, and the participation of the Israeli investigator in EU consortiums in research fields such as neuroscience and nanomedicine.
