  • NSF-BSF workshop

The BSF is pleased to share with you this table (please follow the link) which shows that in most disciplines in the recent round of NSF-BSF programs, the success rate of the collaborative proposals with Israelis was quite high. However, this was not the case in a few programs, most notably Molecular and Cellular Biology. We believe that the success rate in these programs can be increased by attending our upcoming workshop. We believe that spending an hour learning how to improve your chances for success will save you from writing an NSF proposal that has little chance of being awarded a grant!

The BSF is coming to BIU on Tuesday, 26 July.

Why: To maximize your chances to win a grant under the NSF-BSF Collaboration Program

    Where: [To be determined]

    Time: 13:00

BSF staff will be available to meet with you after the workshop.

Action Needed: If you want to participate in this NSF-BSF Workshop, click HERE no later than Thursday, 14 July.

    A note about funding.

Financial support for the U.S. scientists in the joint NSF-BSF funding programs comes from the internal resources of the NSF, as part of its regular activity. Financial support for the Israeli side in NSF-BSF joint funding programs comes from annual allocations from the Israeli Ministry of Finance, and the Israeli Council of Higher Education. BSF awards grants to the successful Israeli PIs in this program that are likely to be larger than in BSF's traditional programs, possibly up to $80,000/year.
