Horizon Europe is the European Union’s new seven-year research and innovation programme, running from 2021 to 2027 with a budget of ~€95 billion over seven years. Horizon Europe provides a wide range of funding opportunities for Bar Ilan Researchers including the European Research Council (ERC) grants for Starters, Consolidators and Advanced researchers; Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships; collaborative research addressing global challenges including health, culture, creativity and inclusive society, security, climate change, digital industry, space and energy; and the EIC Pathfinder grants (formally FET Open and Proactive) from early technology to pre-commercial stage.
The Research Authority brings extensive experience and unique expertise in project writing, project management, consulting, and research partnerships. Our staff maintains contact with representatives of the European Union and the Israeli Director of the European Union Framework Program, ISERD, to ensure that our researchers have the most up-to-date information and resources available.
