Dear researchers, the Research Authority provides you with support services including, as mentioned, experienced consultants, a team that is familiar with the process of applying for research grants, reports and budgets, online and offline information, modern and accessible equipment and innovative initiatives. The Research Authority also provides the researchers with linguistic editing, proofreading, translation and graphics services.
We invite you to visit us to learn and use the variety of the Research Authority’s services. In addition, we will appreciate comments and ideas for improvement, changes and additions to our basket of services that may promote research work at the university. For the past year, the Research Authority has been working on implementing a Business Intelligence system (BI), based on reliable and up to date data, for the benefit of the Research Authority and the researchers. This system will centralize the work of the Research Authority and the Office of the Vice President for Research. The system will present data on: the research teams; the number of applications for research grants; the number of award entitlements; the amounts awarded for research grants; the average amount of grants awarded; an efficient and up-to-date list of funding sources for relevant research and funds.
The research team will enable the BI system to process information, segment data and forecast research outputs using the most innovative intelligence tools.
As Head of the Research Authority, I call on all of you, the researchers at Bar-Ilan, to take part in the relevant activities that we are constantly initiating in the Research Authority: seminars and training workshops, information dissemination on grants and calls for proposals in Israel, Europe and the USA. I invite you to utilize the support of the Research Authority to graph the impressive progress of Bar-Ilan University’s research achievements, that are a breakthrough in the academic world and beyond, and promotes the reputation of Bar-Ilan University.
